Son and grandson of an oyster farmer, a resin collector known as "lou résinaïre", Stéphane spent his childhood in Les Jacquets. The school was located in place of the media library and he would go there with his sisters by crossing the Dune du Truquet , a "sand dune planted with pine trees and now a listed heritage site", next to the house. The forest on one side, the sea on the other, their playground was vast. This playground was also that of his children, since Nadine and Stéphane lived there for years before coming to settle in Ariège. Originally a potter, Stéphane and his son Loïc, have thus, over the years, transformed the old pottery shop into a real little house , which they now offer for rent .
